On 23 June 2026, RPMA hosted the webinar "41 Professions You Cover For Your Clients," presented by Richard Horne.

The session highlighted the diverse range of skills and expertise that property managers draw upon every day. Richard encouraged attendees to look beyond the traditional view of property management and recognise the many professional roles they perform in service of their clients.

From acting as a lawyer when navigating legislation and tenancy matters, to serving as an accountant managing financial records, a mediator resolving disputes, and an insurance adviser helping clients understand risk, property managers regularly apply knowledge from a wide range of professions.

The webinar reinforced the significant value property managers provide to property owners and tenants alike, demonstrating that successful property management requires far more than coordinating maintenance and collecting rent. It demands a unique blend of technical knowledge, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and professional judgement.
